This is an almost fully automatic coin counter. The only thing that needs to be done manually is to calibrate the meter, but that's a piece of cake, you have to turn the engine until you hear a "click". Measuring and adding the coins is as follows. First you have to place the coins in a sliding drawer. That drawer then moves forward until a coin falls into the slider, detected by the color sensor. The coin is then moved to the particle where the coins are measured. In this particle, a bar slid down until the touch sensor is pressed. The ev3 can determine which coin it is based on the number of degrees that this motor has turned. This continues until the drawer is over.
